From rim-top views to quiet stretches along the Yellowstone, spring is when you start spending more time outside again. With miles of connected paths through the Billings TrailNet, it’s easy to explore the city by bike, linking parks, river access, and scenic overlooks without ever feeling rushed.

  • Still the best luxury hotel in the state

    We stayed here in 2015, and it is just as memorable today as it was then. It still looks new and modern. The staff remains attentive and professional. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We love the valet service and found the gift shop unique. We ate at both restaurants and will leave reviews for both as they were positive experiences. It is easy to see why this remains the best luxury hotel in the state.

  • Exceeded Expectations! Such a GREAT hotel!

    Every once, in a while, you find a hotel that just exceeds expectations! The accommodations were perfect! The is location is prime, and the service was outstanding. If you have the opportunity to have Shelby check you in, you’ll see exactly what what I mean. Not only did she make our stay easier, but definitely more comfortable! I loved having the little restaurant at the bottom of the hotel, and the valet parking was a bonus for us! When we head back to Billings, this is exactly where we will be.

  • Stay Here When In Billings

    A great hotel when visiting Billings. Centrally located with valet parking at no extra cost (unlike many hotels). Staff who are warm and friendly and room they are clean and comfortable. A bonus is the in hotel diner for a great breakfast. A really pleasant experience.

  • Super Service

    Northern Hotel is a great place to stay. I had requested an early check in and was very pleased to find that our room was ready when we arrived. We chose to self park, which was easy, but in retrospect we should have used the free valet service since all of the employees were helpful, friendly and efficient. We only spent one night so we booked a standard king room and it was very comfortable.

    Right in downtown Billings. Rooms are clean staff is pleasant. Valet parking is free and efficient. Tip them a few bucks. On site restaurant but there are bars and restaurants within 2 blocks. House keeping staff responsive and courteous. Will definitely stay again.

  • Great Hotel and Very Helpful Staff

    Hotel in a convenient location in downtown Billings, walking distance to restaurants and tourist sites. Valet parking convenient, a plus. Room and common areas clean and well maintained. Comfortable room, and bed and bedding--everything worked. Was on the 9th floor so room was quiet.

  • Incredible visit

    Just an incredible experience from the staff to the room. A doorman on site 24/7 and free airport transport are just some of the perks. Older hotel but the rooms are completely updated and modern with an incredible bed. It has to be the best hotel in Billings hands down.
